Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Backend Developer Intern to join our tech team. You will work closely with senior developers to build, optimize, and maintain backend services for our platform. This is a great opportunity to work on real-world, scalable applications and learn industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining backend APIs and services.
Work with databases (MongoDB/MySQL) for data modeling and query optimization.
Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, image hosting, email services).
Implement authentication, role-based access control, and data security measures.
Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
Maintain proper documentation for backend processes and endpoints.

Requirements

Basic understanding of Node.js, Express.js, or similar backend frameworks.
Familiarity with MongoDB or SQL databases.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia).
Understanding of authentication methods like JWT or OAuth.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Bonus Points For:

Experience with AWS, Docker, or cloud hosting services.
Knowledge of TypeScript.
Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control.
