Backend Developer

You are a Jr. Backend Developer with 4-5 years of experience in building scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. This is a 6-month contractual role based in JP Nagar, Bangalore. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, developing and consuming RESTful APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA, and product managers. Your role also involves writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, participating in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and supporting the deployment and monitoring of backend services in production. You should have solid experience in Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot development, hands-on experience with REST API design and microservices architecture, and familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases. Experience with Git and version control workflows is essential, along with an understanding of containerized environments (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD processes. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, effective communication, and teamwork abilities are required. It would be nice to have experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, exposure to message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ, and a basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. In addition, skills in git, teamwork, Java, AWS, Azure, GCP, REST APIs, SQL, Docker, CI/CD, Spring Boot, Agile/Scrum methodologies, NoSQL, microservices architecture, Kafka or RabbitMQ, communication, and problem-solving are important for this role.,
