Backend Architect

As a Backend Architect at Codvo, you will play a crucial role in designing robust, scalable, and secure backend architectures using Python and Node.js. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with front-end teams to ensure smooth integration with React-based UIs, defining and enforcing architectural standards, patterns, and best practices, and mentoring and guiding backend developers towards technical excellence. Your expertise will contribute to technical leadership through code reviews, performance tuning, and risk assessments. In the realm of technical execution, you will be tasked with developing APIs (RESTful and GraphQL) that power web and mobile applications, optimizing database design and access using SQL and NoSQL technologies, and implementing CI/CD pipelines to ensure the high availability of services. Your innovative mindset will be put to use as you evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes while staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. To excel in this role, you must possess over 10 years of experience in designing and developing backend systems with Python and Node.js, a strong understanding of React and its interactions with backend APIs, and proficiency in REST/GraphQL API design and microservices architecture. Additionally, experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, familiarity with database technologies like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis, and expertise in containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes are required. A sound knowledge of security, compliance, and performance optimization practices, coupled with excellent communication and documentation skills, will further enhance your effectiveness in this position.,
