Back End Developer

You will be joining a B2B Travel Tech startup that is revolutionizing the way travel agents offer exceptional travel experiences globally. As part of our team, you will enable travel agents to efficiently book flights, hotels, and holidays, as well as provide comprehensive end-to-end on-ground travel services. With over INR 1000 crore+ GMV (sales) and rapid growth, our sustainable development is supported by internal cashflows. To drive innovation and expansion, we have secured USD 5.5mn+ in funding from prominent global investors. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain backend systems using either Python (Django) or Node.js (Express). - Utilize relational databases like MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB for efficient data storage. - Implement and manage Redis and ElasticSearch for optimal performance. - Work with message queuing systems like RabbitMQ to ensure seamless communication. - Utilize Docker for containerization to streamline deployment processes. - Understand RESTful APIs and integrate them into Android applications. - Collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams to develop robust solutions for the travel supply chain ecosystem. - Design, build, and test backend systems with a methodical and logical approach. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong proficiency in either Python (Django) or Node.js (Express). - Experience with relational databases like MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB. - Hands-on expertise with Redis and ElasticSearch. - Experience with message queuing systems like RabbitMQ. - Familiarity with Docker for containerization. - Ability to understand RESTful APIs and integrate them into Android applications. - Effective collaboration skills with various stakeholders. - Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with long working hours (10-12 hours daily) and 5 days a week from the office in Delhi.
