Are you passionate about backend development and ready to build real-world systems using Node.js , JavaScript , and tRPC ? Join us this summer as a Backend Development Intern. We’re offering an unpaid summer internship opportunity for motivated individuals to work with our talented team on high-impact features for a growing tech platform. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers and product teams to deliver high-performance web applications. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain REST API's using NodeJS with TRPC and TypeScript. Implement new features, ensuring high performance, scalability, and clean architecture. Collaborate with the product teams to implement robust and efficient backend solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices. --Requirements-- Must-Have: Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript Experience with NodeJS and REST API development Familiarity with tRPC or willingness to learn quickly Familiarity with ORMs like Prisma/Drizzle/Mongoose or any other. Basic knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science or a related field Nice To Have: Familiarity with Monorepo and Microservices architecture. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) Understanding of CI/CD pipelines Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) Basic understanding of frontend technologies (e.g., React, Vue) Benefits: Certificate of Internship on successful completion.
