Back End Developer

Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java or Python
• Work extensively with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Cassandra • Leverage AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Quicksight, etc.) to build and scale applications • Build robust backend systems with a focus on performance and scalability • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services • Optimize database queries and backend services for high throughput • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA • Create technical documentation and maintain coding standards • Provide production support and troubleshooting of deployed services

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field • 4–6 years of hands-on development experience with

  Java or Python

  • Strong understanding and practical experience with

  NoSQL databases

  • Proficiency in

  AWS Cloud services

  , including EC2, S3, Lambda, and Quicksight • Experience in building scalable, high-performance APIs • Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) • Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Git, Jenkins, or similar • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work in Agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certifications (Developer Associate or similar)
  • Experience working with AWS Quicksight for data visualization and dashboards • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., CloudFormation or Terraform) • Exposure to full-stack development is a plus • Experience with message brokers like Kafka, SQS, or SNS
