Senior Backend Developer – Java | AWS | API

Job Summary:

Senior Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  robust backend services

  and

  RESTful APIs

  using Java and AWS.
• Build and optimize

  microservices architectures

  ensuring scalability, resilience, and reliability.
• Implement secure and efficient

  integrations with third-party APIs and systems

  .
• Collaborate with

  Frontend, DevOps, and Product teams

  to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Leverage AWS services (e.g.,

  Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, RDS

  ) for development and deployment.
• Ensure code quality through

  unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices

  .
• Participate in

  sprint planning, CI/CD setup, and performance tuning

  initiatives.
• Document API interfaces, workflows, and architectural decisions for ongoing maintainability.
• Explore and implement emerging technologies to continuously enhance system capabilities.
• Optional: Contribute using

  Python

  or

  Node.js

  for specific service modules or automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5–8 years of backend development experience with

  Java

  (Spring Boot, REST APIs).
• Strong expertise in

  AWS services

  and cloud deployment strategies.
• Experience in

  microservices, API design, and distributed systems

  .
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD pipelines

  , Git, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Exposure to

  Python or Node.js

  preferred.
• Solid understanding of

  OOP, data structures, and design patterns

  .
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
