Back-end Developer

Role Overview: As a Back-end Developer at Deutsche Bank, you will play a crucial role in renewing the digital channels and engaging in strategic projects. Key Responsibilities: - Strong Solution Design Capability - Develop, unit-test, integrate, deploy, maintain, and enhance software - Conduct peer code review - Actively participate in squad activities and ceremonies such as daily stand-up/scrum meetings - Engage in Dev chapter lead activities - Implement continuous integration best practices including SCM, build automation, unit testing, and dependency management - Collaborate with squad members to achieve Squad/Sprint objectives - Update Agile team management tools (JIRA/Confluence) with progress reports - Manage individual task priorities and deliverables - Ensure the quality of solutions provided - Contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities - Support the Product Owner, Analyst, and Scrum Master Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience - Proficiency in collaborating with global and local teams within an Agile environment - Excellent knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot framework - Proficient in Microservices, Web services (SOAP/REST), messaging (JMS/MQ), databases (Oracle/MySQL), batch processing, security concepts, application servers (Tomcat/Wildfly), testing, and debugging - Possess a DevOps mindset and problem-solving skills - Experience in functional design, technical design, and programming aligned with IT Application Life Cycle standards Additional Details: Deutsche Bank offers a range of benefits including best in class leave policy, gender-neutral parental leaves, sponsorship for industry-relevant certifications, comprehensive insurance coverage, and employee assistance programs.
