Back End Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer (3+ years) to join our engineering team and contribute to building scalable backend services. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Java 8+, OOP concepts, and data structures, along with working knowledge of integration tools and databases (MySQL or NoSQL).

This role is suited for a developer eager to deepen their expertise in backend engineering and contribute to solving challenging technical problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java 8+ features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following OOP principles.
• Apply data structures and algorithms to implement optimized solutions.
• Collaborate on system integrations with external/internal platforms.
• Work with MySQL or NoSQL databases for storage and retrieval operations.
• Contribute to code reviews, debugging, and optimization.
• Participate in design discussions and propose effective technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6-9 years of backend development experience with Java.
• Good understanding of Java 8+ (streams, lambdas, functional interfaces).
• Strong grasp of OOP concepts and familiarity with design patterns.
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and basic performance optimization.
• Exposure to multithreading and concurrency in Java.
• Experience with integration tools (REST APIs, messaging systems, etc.).
• Practical knowledge of MySQL or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile development practices.
