Back-end Developer

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for compiling and analyzing data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement. You will collaborate with front-end developers and team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience. Additionally, you will be expected to develop ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends, and record data for reporting to clients or leadership. Participation in continuing education and training to stay current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and assist team members will also be required. Taking the lead on projects when necessary is a key aspect of this role. The skills required for this position include a focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement, along with a Bachelor's degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field. Additional education or experience may be necessary. Proficiency or understanding of specific languages such as Java, PHP, or Python, as well as operating systems, is a must. A strong comprehension of the web development cycle, programming techniques, and tools is essential. Excellent project and time management skills, along with strong problem-solving and verbal and written communication abilities, are also required.
