Job Description

Role Overview:

The B2B Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing business clients to drive revenue growth. The role includes developing strong customer relationships, executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets across assigned regions or verticals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify and acquire new B2B clients through cold calling, networking, references, and market visits.
  • Develop a robust sales pipeline and drive end-to-end sales closure.
  • Conduct client research to understand business needs and pain points.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (Owners, Purchase Heads, Project Managers, etc.)
  • Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and product demos for corporate clients.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

3. Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute territory-wise sales plans to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Understand client requirements and offer customized B2B solutions.
  • Drive negotiations, commercial discussions, and contract finalization.

4. Key Account Management

  • Manage large, high-value corporate accounts to ensure repeat business.
  • Track client performance, sales volume, and overall business contribution.
  • Resolve client issues related to product, service, delivery, or payments.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and competitor analysis.
  • Track KPIs such as conversion ratio, pipeline status, and revenue growth.
  • Provide insights to management on market trends, opportunities, and challenges.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing teams for seamless order fulfillment.
  • Work closely with technical/product teams for client-specific solutions.
  • Ensure timely delivery, service, and payment collection.

7. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and product developments.
  • Identify new market opportunities and potential partnerships.
