Azure Data Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and optimizing data pipelines and data sets, utilizing Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, and SQL. You will work closely with data architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to design and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance data solutions on the Azure platform. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. Strong experience with Azure Data Factory for ETL/ELT operations. Proficiency in Databricks and PySpark for big data processing and transformation. Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and reporting. Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing. Experience with Azure services like Azure Synapse, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure SQL Database. Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
