Azure Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using

  Azure Data Factory (ADF)

  and

  Databricks

  .
• Perform

  data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration

  with Spark and Python.
• Write and optimize

  complex SQL queries

  for transformation, reporting, and analytics.
• Integrate data pipelines with

  Snowflake

  and other cloud platforms for advanced analytics.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver

  end-to-end solutions

  .
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance and reliability of pipelines.
• Ensure

  data quality, consistency, and security

  across the data lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in

  data engineering

  or related roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:

• Azure Databricks

  (Spark transformations)

• Azure Data Factory

  (pipelines, triggers, integration runtime)

• SQL

  (T-SQL / PL-SQL)

• Python

  (scripting and data processing)

• ETL tools

  and

  Data Warehousing concepts

• Snowflake

• Experience with

  version control tools (Git)

  and

  CI/CD practices

  .
• Solid understanding of

  data modeling, partitioning, and performance tuning

  .

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of

  Azure Synapse

  ,

  Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)

  , and

  Power BI

  .
• Experience in

  Agile delivery environments

  .

• Azure Data Engineer Associate Certification

  (or equivalent).
