Azure Data Engineer

You are a skilled Azure Data Engineer with 3+ years of experience, looking to join the data team at Orion Innovation. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, while also transforming data using PySpark and working with SQL databases. Any experience with Microsoft Fabric will be an added advantage. Your duties will include developing, scheduling, and monitoring data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, processing large datasets efficiently with PySpark, and writing SQL queries for data extraction and analysis. Collaboration with data architects and analysts to ensure business requirements are met will also be part of your role, as well as ensuring data quality, security, and compliance across data pipelines. Key skills that you possess include working with Azure Data Factory pipelines, PySpark, SQL, and Microsoft Fabric. Having an Azure Data Engineer Associate certification (DP-203) would be a plus, while experience with Power BI, Azure Machine Learning, or Logic Apps would be beneficial. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are also desired for this position.
