2-5 years of experience in data engineering or development roles in large scale projects.
-Strong hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics (including dedicated SQL pools, data integration pipelines, Synapse Spark notebooks etc.)
-Good working knowledge of Azure Data Factory, SQL, and related data services
-Basic exposure or willingness to work with Azure Databricks with PySpark (development or orchestration)
-Solid understanding of SAP BW data models, InfoProviders, and data extraction methods (e.g., using ODP, CDS Views, or flat files)
-Proficiency in data modeling and ETL/ELT concepts
-Experience working on SQL environments
-Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to navigate complexity
-Experience in performance and tuning
-Demonstrable experience applying agile mythologies (SCRUM)
-Good team player
-Good communication and documentation skills
-Advanced level of English
Knowledge of data architecture concepts (e.g., data lakehouse, medallion architecture)
-Familiarity with data governance and security best practices in Azure
-Exposure to modern BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
-Familiarity with Alteryx
