About the role: We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage robust cloud infrastructure aligned with industry best practices and Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Azure services, networking, automation, security, and cloud governance.

Responsibilities:

1. Provision and configure Azure infrastructure components following established architectural and governance standards.

2. Design and implement Hub-and-Spoke network topologies, including VNet peering, routing, and hybrid connectivity.

3. Configure and manage Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Private Endpoints, VPN Gateways, and DNS zones.

4. Deploy, manage, and optimize Azure services including Storage Accounts, App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, API Management (APIM), and Azure Communication Services.

5. Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell scripting and Azure CLI to improve efficiency and consistency.

6. Apply cloud security best practices, including RBAC, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), encryption, and threat protection mechanisms.

7. Enforce the Principle of Least Privilege using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

8. Implement Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and configure backup policies to ensure business continuity.

9. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance, availability, and security using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud / Security Center.

10. Ensure compliance, governance, and operational excellence in alignment with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).

11. Work with Microsoft Fabric infrastructure, including workspace setup, data integration, and environment administration.

Candidate Requirements:

1. 7+ years of hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure implementation and administration.

2. Strong understanding of Azure networking, cloud-native services, and security architecture.

3. Proficiency with automation and IaC tools: PowerShell, ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform, and Azure CLI.

4. Experience with platform services: Azure Functions, App Services, Storage Accounts, Logic Apps, APIM, Communication Services.

5. Working knowledge of .NET, Angular, and API development is a strong advantage.

6. Familiarity with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and its practical application in enterprise environments.

7. Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-305 are highly desirable.

8. Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, with experience working in remote or hybrid environments.
