About the role: We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new features within our application, encompassing end-to-end code implementation. This role involves active participation in deployment and release activities, as well as contributing to the resolution of production-related issues. Responsibilities: Frontend Development: Develop user interfaces using Angular (v8–14), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design prototypes. Backend Development: Implement business logic using Java and the Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring JPA). Design and develop RESTful APIs and manage JSON data structures. Utilize JPA repositories for database interactions. Deployment & CI/CD: Participate in the deployment process and release activities. Contribute to the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure Pipeline or Jenkins. Database Management: Design and manage relational databases using MySQL or PostgreSQL. Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance. Production Support: Monitor application performance and resolve production-related issues promptly. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure system stability. Candidate Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in Angular (v8–14), HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). Strong experience with Java (JDK 8 or later) and the Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring JPA). Expertise in designing RESTful APIs and handling JSON data. Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL. Ability to write and optimize SQL queries. Proficiency in using IDEs like IntelliJ or Eclipse. Familiarity with build tools like Maven. Basic knowledge of ServiceNow and monitoring tools like Grafana.
