Job Title: L2 Azure Cloud Support Engineer

Location: On-site Required

Department: IT Infrastructure / Cloud Services

Reports To: Technical Lead

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive L2 Azure Cloud Support Engineer to join our cloud operations team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support for Azure IaaS and PaaS services, resolve support tickets, and contribute to cloud-related projects. This role involves direct client interaction, so strong communication skills and a solid understanding of business processes are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 support for Azure cloud services, including IaaS (VMs, networking, storage) and PaaS (App Services, Azure SQL, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests within defined SLAs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand requirements and deliver cloud solutions.
  • Participate in cloud migration, optimization, and implementation projects.
  • Document solutions, procedures, and configurations for the knowledge base and future reference.
  • Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security issues.
  • Escalate complex issues to L3 or vendor support when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide timely updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 24 years of experience in Azure cloud support or a similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and application issues.
  • Familiarity with Azure Portal, CLI, PowerShell, and ARM templates.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts (VNETs, NSGs, VPNs, etc.).
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and align with the client's business processes.
  • Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-900, etc.) are a plus.
