AWS Platform Engineer - DevOps

Job Description

Overview : We are looking for an experienced AWS Platform Engineer Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of architecting and managing AWS environments in regulated industries such as finance, with expertise in advanced cloud security, automation, and containerization solutions. Responsibilities : 1. Architect and manage secure, scalable AWS environments in compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, FCA, PRA). 2. Deploy and maintain EKS clusters, Istio service mesh, and Kong API Gateway in production environments. 3. Implement robust security measures, leveraging tools like Dynatrace, Fortigate, and AWS-native security services (Security Hub, GuardDuty, WAF). 4. Design and enforce Privileged Access Management (PAM) policies to secure privileged cloud actions. 5. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and CloudFormation. 6. Integrate observability tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ensuring system reliability and performance. 7. Collaborate with teams to implement best practices for container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker. Requirements: 1. 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS in regulated industries, including finance. 2. Strong experience with AWS security frameworks, networking, and compliance standards. 3. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. 4. Expertise in Kubernetes (EKS), Istio, Kong API Gateway, and containerization technologies. 5. Experience with security and monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Fortigate, and AWSnative services. 6. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Security, or DevOps (preferred). 7. Familiarity with container security scanning tools (e.g., Trivy, Aqua Security). 8. Knowledge of hybrid cloud security practices. 9. Experience with serverless technologies like AWS Lambda and API Gateway. Mandatory Skills : - AWS Cloud Platform, AWS DevOps Tools, AWS security frameworks, networking, and compliance standards, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Istio, Kong API Gateway, and containerization technologies. - Monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Fortigate, and AWS-native services Locations : Mumbai, Delhi / NCR, Bengaluru , Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, India.
