THE ROLE

AWS / Full Stack Developer

We have built a monetisation platform which has delivered $200M in revenue and now we are working on launching it publicly and your role would be to deliver the roadmap. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply comfortable with AWS (Serverless Framework, CloudFormation), Node.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript, and has a strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, microservices, and scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing/maintaining scalable AWS Node.js/Typescript microservices

• Developing and maintaining new & existing sophisticated and high performance AWS microservices.
• Ensure resilience and robust microservices development

• Tech Team Collaboration:

  Working closely with the Tech Delivery Manager & CTO to ensure the prioritisation and status of work is clear at all times.

• Writing Code:

  Writing or amending code using programming languages including Node.js & JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Project Management:

  Utilising internal project management software to ensure your day to day work is tracked through Linear.

• Problem Solving:

  Proactively reviewing and solving problems.

• Optimizing microservices:

  Optimizing microservices for performance, usability, and security

• Staying Current:

  Keeping up to date with new AWS services and AI technology.

Ideal Skills + Experience:

• Proven multiple years experience as a AWS / Full stack developer.
• HIghly proficient in Node.js / JavaScript/TypeScript
• Deep understanding of core programming principles
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Proficiency with project tracking software: Linear
• Experience working as part of a development team
