AWS DevOps Engineer

As a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer, you will have a critical role in enhancing deployment workflows, improving system reliability, and enabling faster and safer software delivery. - Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS. - Automate provisioning, deployment, and monitoring using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar. - Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc. - Manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS. - Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to enhance end-to-end delivery. - Monitor and enhance system performance, availability, and reliability. - Drive cost optimization, performance tuning, and capacity planning efforts. - Implement security best practices across cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Qualifications: - 5-7 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles. - Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.). - Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. - Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, etc. - Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, ECS). - Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go. - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc. - Good understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles. - Exposure to Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices. Good to Have: - 1-2 years of prior experience in Development or QA roles. - AWS or Kubernetes certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA). - Experience with secrets management tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager). - Deeper expertise in networking (VPC peering, VPNs, DNS), security hardening, and cloud storage (S3 lifecycle policies, EBS, EFS).
