AWS Developer

Role Summary:

The AWS Developer specialises in automation, scripting, and integration to improve migration efficiency and operational governance. The role underpins repeatable, automated deployments and cost visibility for the Council’s AWS estate.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Terraform/CloudFormation templates to automate environment provisioning and updates.
Script automation for FinOps reporting, cost anomaly detection, and capacity monitoring.
Integrate CloudWatch, QuickSight, and Grafana dashboards for operational visibility.
Automate migration tool orchestration and generate infrastructure audit reports.
Collaborate with architects to enhance CI/CD pipelines and configuration governance.
