AWS AI Engineer / Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AWS AI Engineer / Developer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered

workflows leveraging AWS Bedrock and modern open-source AI frameworks. The ideal candidate will

have hands-on expertise in developing agent-based and event-driven systems with a focus on accuracy,

scalability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deploy AI-powered workflows using AWS Bedrock and open-source tools

(LangChain, AutoGen, etc.).

Design agent-based systems for use cases such as data verification, discrepancy detection, and

intelligent query generation.

Build event-driven pipelines using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge.

Work on prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-agent

orchestration.

Integrate AI agents securely with external systems and APIs.

Collaborate with data engineering teams to develop PHI/PII-safe data ingestion pipelines.

Continuously monitor, fine-tune, and optimize AI workflows for performance, accuracy, and

compliance.

(Preferred) Contribute to healthcare or life sciences AI solutions, ensuring regulatory standards

are met.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3–6 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML or LLM-based application development.

Strong programming proficiency in Python or TypeScript.

Practical experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen.

Proficiency with AWS AI services — Bedrock, SageMaker, Textract, Comprehend Medical, etc.

Solid understanding of API integrations and event-driven architectures.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and experimentation skills.

(Preferred) Prior experience developing AI solutions in regulated industries (Healthcare, Life

Sciences).
