We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions, We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President, Third Party Risk Officer Business : Intel Wealth & Premier Banking Principal Responsibilities Be the Subject Matter Expert for Third Party Risk for Intel Wealth & Premier Banking Act as the business lead and key contact point for all Third-Party Risk Management issues in Intel Wealth & Premier Banking Oversight of the Third Party Risk Manager, Third Party Operated Key Controls etc, Act as a primary point of contact and provide risk management support, subject matter expertise & insightful direction for Third Party Risk related activities and issues working with the Third Party Risk Officer Coordinating the implementation of the Group Third Party Risk Management Policy and Framework Provide clear concise guidance and advice directly to market Third Party Risk Officers, Third Party Engagement Managers & Risk Owners by establishing benchmarks to identify the materiality of the risk or regulatory impacts, Support markets and risk owners to embed the standardized core approach for third party risk management, Measure Third party risk against Globally set risk objectives and controls Escalation of cross risk/cross business impacts where agreement cannot be reached to Global Third-Party Risk Officer Actively track and manage the ongoing utilization of risk monitoring, management tools and utilities e-g, Archer, Helios, etc, Qualifications External At least 7 to 8 years of overall business risk experience with a minimum of 2 to 3 years handling 3rd party risk related activities, Strong communication and presentation skills required, with excellent planning, influencing and commercial skills Ability to influence stakeholders across the business, Strong Relationship management and risk management skills, Working knowledge of standards technologies including Microsoft Office products Well-organized, passionate, and highly responsible, As the role will involve frequent engagement with a large range of senior stakeholders experience and exposure to these types of groups would be beneficial Current stakeholders include: Global and Regional ForumsThird Party Risk Oversight Forum,Third Party Oversight Forum Resilience Risk Steward and Regional Third-Party Risk team Non-Financial Risk Domains and Risk Stewards Internal Audit and External Auditors / Local regulators liaison / engagement, Youll achieve more at HSBC HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count We take pride in providing a workplace that fosters continuous professional development, flexible working and opportunities to grow within an inclusive and diverse environment, HSBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count We take pride in providing a workplace that fosters continuous professional development, flexible working and, opportunities to grow within an inclusive and diverse environment We encourage applications from all suitably qualified persons irrespective of, but not limited to, their gender or genetic information, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, social status, medical care leave requirements, political affiliation, people with disabilities, color, national origin, veteran status, etc,, We consider all applications based on merit and suitability to the role?
