Job Description

Role Overview: As a Branch Assets Specialist at HSBC, your role will primarily focus on the asset products such as Mortgage, PIL, LAS, LAM, etc to build the assets business. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the technical aspects of assets business operations across different regions in India while ensuring seamless processing of asset product applications sourced by Relationship Managers. Your interactions will involve various stakeholders within and outside HSBC, including Risk Team, Builders, and Societies. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for asset product disbursals of the MSF Channel - Provide back-end support to Branch Relationship Managers in the end-to-end process of sourcing to disbursal of any asset product applications - Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders such as CRU, CCR, INM, legal departments - Regularly monitor the status of logged in applications - Provide developmental and coaching interventions for the Channel Partner - Identify cross-sell opportunities for other product lines and refer/sell them to the Relationship Managers - Ensure discrepancy rates in applications are minimized - Implement fraud control measures - Comply with applicable laws, regulations, Group, and local guidelines related to Sanctions and AML policy of HSBC - Remain vigilant for unusual activities and promptly report any suspicious activities - Support the Country or Regional FCC AML Office/ AML Investigations as required - Attend and complete AML and Sanctions related training within the mandated timeframe - Understand and implement PEP acceptance, prohibition, CDD & EDD guidelines - Identify high-risk indicators for various products and services offered - Undertake necessary remediation steps in case of breaches or non-adherence to policies - Conduct due diligence to ensure transactions align with customer profiles - Communicate effectively with customers regarding product and service offerings and guidelines Qualifications: - Graduate/Post Graduate (Masters)/ MBA with two to five years of work experience Note: HSBC is dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusivity, continuous professional development, and growth opportunities for all employees.
