AVP Data Quality Management

As an Assistant Vice President in Data Quality Management at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to CIB Banking data policies and standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Executing CIB Banking data policies and standards in collaboration with Operating Business, Risk Stewards, and IT stakeholders. - Facilitating ongoing adherence to policies through best practices, methodologies, and processes. - Providing data consultancy to stakeholders and project teams to resolve data issues. - Supporting the remediation of prioritized Data Quality Issues across CIB. - Analyzing data problems and assigning them to appropriate data managers for resolution. - Supporting impacted Data Managers in identifying lineage and stakeholders for Data Quality Issues. - Developing KPIs and OKRs to monitor team progress. - Keeping stakeholders updated on lessons learned and best practices. - Utilizing group tooling to implement data controls for CIB. - Coordinating with key stakeholders to support change initiatives. - Driving cross-country and cross-business teamwork through collaboration and matrix management. Qualifications required for this role include: - Banking experience with knowledge of investment banking global markets and CIB banking. - Knowledge of Customer Due Diligence in a CIB Banking context is favorable. - Years of experience in data management or governance with awareness of industry data standards. - Working knowledge of data matching tools and quality assurance standards. - Experience in data quality management, especially with customer data, product, finance, and risk data. - Project Management experience, preferably with skills in Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, JIRA, and MS Office. - Analytical ability and attention to detail for monitoring remediation progress. - Experience in senior stakeholder management. - Ability to communicate technical insights in business language. - Capability to work across geographically dispersed teams in a matrix environment.,
