AVP Credit (Financial Institutional Lending)

You are a highly skilled and analytical Credit professional with 7-10 years of experience in credit underwriting for corporate clients, particularly in the Mid-market financial sector and NBFC clients. Your background in accounting audit and/or forensic audit is considered advantageous. Your responsibilities include: - Performing end-to-end credit underwriting for wholesale and mid-market corporate clients in the financial sector. - Conducting detailed analysis of financial statements, evaluating creditworthiness, and identifying key business and financial risks. - Structuring and recommending credit facilities according to internal policies and risk appetite. - Collaborating with business teams to understand client requirements and ensure appropriate credit structuring. - Preparing and presenting comprehensive credit appraisal notes for approval committees. - Monitoring portfolio performance continuously, highlighting early warning signals and credit deterioration. - Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, internal credit policies, and documentation standards. - Leveraging experience in accounting audits to assess financial integrity and identify potential red flags. - Applying forensic audit insights to detect misrepresentations or financial irregularities. Qualifications & Experience: - Preferred qualifications include Chartered Accountant (CA) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). - You have 7-10 years of experience in wholesale credit underwriting, focusing on financial sector clients. - You possess a strong understanding of financial analysis, risk assessment methodologies, and credit structuring. - Strong Excel skills are required. - You have decent communication and interpersonal skills.,
