Project description We are seeking an Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) with experience in implementing Avaloq Adapters into a Container Platform. The SME will support the design, build, test, implementation, definition of production support processes, and warranty. The SME will work closely with our existing team, providing specialised support and ensuring the successful implementation of Avaloq Adapters. The role requires a collaborative approach to integrate seamlessly with ongoing project activities. Responsibilities Implement Avaloq Adapters in a container environment meeting Westpac Group Standards. Integrate Avaloq Installator with Westpac's continuous integration and deployment tooling Jenkins, Bitbucket and Artifactory. Identify opportunities for deployment process improvement and automation. Provide expertise in Jenkins, AIX, Oracle Exadata, OpenShift, and Avaloq. Support the design, build, test, and implementation phases. Operational handover: Documented processes for BAU usage and production support of the implemented design. Provide warranty support. Skills Must have Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) with 3-5 years' experience in customisation and implementation of Avaloq Banking System. Proven experience with implementing Avaloq Adapters in a container environment. Proficiency in Jenkins. Strong knowledge of AIX, Oracle Exadata, OpenShift, and Avaloq. Good understanding of banking operations, trade lifecycle and investment/ superannuation products. Good understanding of relational databases (preferably Oracle and PL/SQL) Subject matter expert of several Avaloq modules (Functional and Technical) Expert parameterisation skills in core Avaloq concepts: Avaloq scripts, Cost & Fees, Order Validations & workflow management, Book and Balance engines, Avaloq messaging interface (AMI), Task and Reporting framework etc. Strong Understanding of Avaloq concepts such as EOD, Pillars and Rule loading. Hands on experience with SQL tuning and performance tuning of Avaloq codes through SQL Trace and PL/SQL Hierarchical Profile (HPROF) Strong understanding of Avaloq release management processes such as creating streams/releases and creating Avaloq packages for installation. Hands on experience in Avaloq release management processes and Unix scripting will be advantageous for an Avaloq release management role. Expert problem solving and troubleshooting skills of Avaloq banking system. Ability analyse Avaloq installation logs and underlying Oracle schema of ABS. Experience in raising / managing Avaloq kernel issues through Avaloq issue management tool. Languages English: C1 Advanced Location - Pune,Bangalore,Hyderabad,Chennai,Noida
