Automotive Requirements Engineer(Polarion)

Responsibilities

• Define and document system requirements for automotive projects, ensuring clarity, completeness, and traceability.
• Utilize Polarion or similar tools for requirements management, maintaining an organized and accessible repository for all project stakeholders.
• Work closely with software and hardware engineering teams to understand technical constraints, dependencies, and design considerations.
• Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on requirements and design decisions.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, design decisions, and change requests
• Ensure that all defined requirements adhere to industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the requirements engineering process by identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices into the requirements engineering process.
  

Skills & Experience Required

• Education: Bachelor's degree in embedded systems, electrical engineering, or a related field, required. Master's degree desired.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years' experience with 3+ years of experience in automotive requirements engineering, with a proven track record of utilizing tools like Polarion for effective requirements management, required.
• Proficient in requirements management tools such as Polarion.
• Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulatory requirements like ASPICE.
• Knowledge of system and software requirements engineering standard ISO29148.
• Strong knowledge of Sysml / UML modeling languages" Strong understanding of software and hardware development processes in an automotive context.
• Good to have IREB Certification.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
