Automation testing

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Automation Tester with proficiency in Selenium to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing test automation frameworks, developing and executing automated test scripts, and ensuring the quality of our software products by working closely with our development team. The role requires a deep understanding of automation testing methodologies and Selenium tools to ensure that our software products are free from defects and meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.

Identify, record, and document thoroughly and track bugs.

Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

Collaborate with the development team to ensure consistent project execution.

Required Skills

Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for creating scripts for automation testing.

Strong knowledge of Java or other programming languages.

Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.

A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with other testing tools like JUnit, TestNG, etc.

Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Knowledge of SQL and database testing.

Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.

Experience with version control systems like Git.

Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).

Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, etc.
