POSITION OVERVIEW : Automation tester

Experience: 7+ Years

Shift Time: 1 - 11pm / 3:30pm - 1:30am

Start Date: Immediate

Location: Anywhere in India (flexible to WFO Hybrid Mode)

No of Interviews: 2

1. Should have 7+ Experience in any Automation Test Tool.

2. Should have experience in Measuring performance in J Meter tool

3. Should be conversant with tools like SmartBear, Selenium. Exposure to ERP automation testing Performance / load testing experience is desired.

4. Mocking API calls and test data.

5. Good analytical skills to understand a given requirement and provide work estimates.

6. Good written and verbal communication skills.

7. Should have a good understanding of Azure DevOps.

8. Additionally, nice to have experience in Test Complete.

9. Should have a good debugging skill.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Experience in Automation Test Tools

2. Write Test Cases based on functional specifications.

3. Understand the use cases/User Story. Execute test scripts to ensure the system release functions as expected. Identify and escalate, as necessary project risks and issues to the Project Manager.

4. Be able to prepare reports on defects and problems that arise during system testing.

5. Revise test cases as necessary based on project team feedback.

6. As necessary modify/create Qualification Plan, Test Plans, Risk Assessments, Reports, Trace Matrix commensurate with project complexity.

7. Convert the Manual to Automation test scripts

8. Report out statuses to the leads onshore daily during the Stand-up calls.

9. Additionally, update efforts on a given work item on everyday basis.

10. Provide true estimates on work assigned prior development. Also ask questions/provide comments on User Stories/work items assigned.

11. Be a team player and flexible towards availability in case of any urgent issues that need immediate attention.

12. Plan out vacations in advance (min. 2 weeks of adv. Notice).
