Description
As a Lead I - Software Testing at UST, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing automated test suites using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and JSystem. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of our software development lifecycle by creating robust and maintainable automated tests for web applications, APIs, and system integrations. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and JSystem to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and inconsistencies. - Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability of testing efforts. - Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to identify and resolve software defects. - Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on testability and quality. - Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies. - Perform regression testing to ensure new features and bug fixes do not introduce new issues. - Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with expertise in Java and Selenium. - Proven experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks. - Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. - Experience working in an Agile development environment. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Experience with JSystem is highly preferred.
