Automation Test Engineer

As a Trainee Automation Engineer at our company, your role will involve learning and implementing automation testing frameworks and tools. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts using XPath for web applications. Collaboration with development and testing teams to understand requirements and test scenarios is a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will execute automated test cases, analyze results, report bugs, and work on improving automation scripts and frameworks continuously. Key Responsibilities: - Learn and implement automation testing frameworks and tools - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using XPath for web applications - Collaborate with development and testing teams to comprehend requirements and test scenarios - Execute automated test cases and analyze results - Identify and report bugs to ensure high software quality - Continuously enhance automation scripts and frameworks Qualifications Required: - Basic knowledge of XPath and its application in locating web elements - Understanding of Selenium WebDriver or other automation tools - Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Eagerness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment We also look for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field. Experience in test automation through internships or academic projects is preferred. Basic knowledge of API testing and CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.
