Job Title: Selenium Automation Test Engineer (Java) Location: Chennai / New Delhi / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Ahmedabad / Pune / Indore Experience: 4 to 6 Years Job Type: Full-time Work Mode: Hybrid/On-site (based on location) Industry: IT Services / Product Development Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in Selenium with Java to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of test automation frameworks, testing best practices, and experience in agile environments. You will work closely with development teams to ensure the highest quality of our software products. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java . Build and maintain test frameworks like TestNG , JUnit , Maven , or Cucumber . Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins , Git , etc. Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA , Bugzilla , or similar. Perform functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing as needed. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand requirements and validate product quality. Continuously improve test automation processes and coverage. Document test plans, test cases, and test results. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Selenium test automation with Java . Strong experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG , JUnit , or Cucumber (BDD) . Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Java concepts . Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle . Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins , Git , Bitbucket . Strong analytical and debugging skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good to Have: Experience in API testing using tools like Postman , RestAssured , or SoapUI . Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience in performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
