Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - Automation Testing We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Automation Test Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for driving technical quality assurance processes to support the Digital Experience Platform (DXP) of Risepoint, encompassing a portfolio of 100+ highly available and scalable websites. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise and hands-on experience in automation testing, ensuring the delivery of robust, high-quality web solutions. As a Web Automation Test Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, UX designers, content writers, and business stakeholders, to ensure websites meet or exceed technical specifications and functional requirements. You will also implement efficient, automated, and repeatable testing processes to support a dynamic, high-volume development environment. Develop test scenarios, test data, and test cases for module, integration, and system testing. Prepare and manage the test environment to execute test cases. Perform manual and automated testing, UI/UX, performance, accessibility, and SEO testing. Track and document defects, providing detailed information to developers for resolution. • Prepare test summary reports and lessons learned documentation. Suggest improvements to enhance application quality and testing processes. Conduct review meetings and communicate with test leads/managers. • Implement and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Playwright, Selenium, and Katalon. • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field (preferred). years of experience as a Test Engineer, with strong knowledge of manual and automated testing practices. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 3+ years of experience testing web applications, UI/UX, performance, accessibility, and SEO. 3+ years of experience with automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Katalon) and scripting languages (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript). 1+ years of experience testing APIs and application integrations. 1+ years of experience in a SCRUM/Agile methodology environment. 1+ years of experience testing WordPress sites, including familiarity with WordPress hosting solutions like Pantheon. Knowledge of WordPress architecture, plug-ins, themes, and database schemas. Strong understanding of technical quality control processes, test plans, and testing methodologies (e.g., functional, regression, and edge case testing). Familiarity with tools for static code analysis, automated unit/integration tests, and sandbox environments. Proficiency with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Workfront, Bugherd) and creating defect reports.
