Automation Test Engineer

As an Automation Test Engineer specializing in Selenium, Playwright, and SQL, you will play a vital role in our innovative QA team. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our applications. Collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders, you will contribute significantly throughout the software development lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright for web applications. You will design and implement test automation frameworks and strategies to maintain code quality and coverage. Utilizing SQL, you will conduct database testing and verify data integrity. Collaborating with development teams, you will identify testing requirements and functional specifications. Furthermore, you will conduct regression testing and document test cases, scenarios, and results effectively. In this role, you will be expected to identify, track, and report defects using a bug tracking system. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous improvement efforts in automation testing processes and methodologies. To be successful in this role, you should possess 5-8 years of experience in automation testing, focusing on Selenium and Playwright. Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python, or Java are essential. A solid understanding of SQL and experience in database testing is required. Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or Travis CI is preferred. Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams is highly valued. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, are crucial. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is also required.
