Automation Technician

As a Junior Control & Instrumentation Wiring Engineer at Amerging Technologies, you will play a crucial role in supporting the wiring, testing, and installation of control panels and field instrumentation systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in control panel wiring, routing cables, and terminating PLC, VFD, and field devices. - Supporting wiring for instrumentation devices such as pressure, temperature, level, and flow sensors. - Reading and following electrical wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and I/O schedules. - Performing continuity checks, loop testing, and basic troubleshooting during panel wiring and site installation. - Supporting engineers during FAT/SAT, commissioning, and field I/O verifications. - Maintaining proper documentation for panel layout changes, wiring modifications, and connection logs. - Following safety protocols and ensuring cleanliness and order at the work site or panel shop. You should possess the following skills and abilities: - Basic understanding of control systems, electrical wiring, and instrument signal types (4-20mA, RTD, digital, etc.). - Familiarity with tools like multimeters, crimping tools, and cable identification techniques. - Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD Electrical drawings or wiring schematics. - Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems and field signal interfacing (preferred). - Willingness to work on the shop floor or project sites for wiring, testing, and installation tasks. - Good attention to detail, safety awareness, and a positive learning attitude. To be eligible for this role, you should have: - Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Engineering. - 2 years of experience in control panel wiring or instrumentation installation.
