Job Title: Automation QA Engineer (Mid-Level)

Location: Kochi (On-site)

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Automation QA Engineer to strengthen our Quality Assurance function. The role involves designing and maintaining automated test suites, developing and executing manual test cases, and ensuring consistent product quality across all releases. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to identify gaps, validate features, and improve overall testing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and backend systems.

• Create detailed, clear, and comprehensive manual test cases based on functional requirements.

• Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing as needed.

• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to refine requirements and ensure test coverage.

• Contribute to improving QA processes, frameworks, and best practices.

• Ensure timely execution of test cycles in alignment with release schedules.

• Maintain test documentation, test data, and automation frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in QA automation and manual testing.

• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.

• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).

• Good knowledge of test case design techniques and defect management.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git preferred).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in testing microservices and cloud-based applications.

• Exposure to performance testing tools.

• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or similar).What We Offer
