We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist. In this role, you will: Working within an Agile team to design, test and support (DevOps) Network products. primarily focused Network Automation. Working with automation/testing tools Ansible, Terraform, GitHub (Version Control), Postman, Jenkins Covers all APIs for customer consumption as we drive efficiency across the NEC estates globally. Interact with our customers to understand requirements and services that would benefit them in the future work with Product Owners to drive such initiatives through to delivery. working on Web/API Technologies Working experience with Linux OS Working on network devices like Routing Switching, Firewalls, NAT, Port, Subnetting, VPNs. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Must have experience of software delivery life cycle along with a passion for testing and delivery of quality products and automation Exposure and awareness to other disciplines (Analysis, Testing, Operational Support) within the Network operations Background of working with the Agile methodology and associated tool sets Jira, Confluence, Service NOW etc Evidence of having conceptual knowledge of networking technologies and protocols Ability to work as part of a team to ensure team success in the form of value-add deliverables with a regular delivery cadence Customer and service focused, representing Telecoms globally
