Automation Engineer

You will be responsible for developing and programming PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems according to project requirements. This includes configuring and parameterizing AC VFDs and AC Servo Drives. You will need to understand and analyze customer requirements for machine/plant automation and control systems. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing system architecture diagrams, control logic documentation, and maintaining project records for completed projects. Supervising wiring, installation, and integration between control panels and machines/plants will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will perform testing, debugging, and commissioning of complete automation systems on-site and troubleshoot control panels, PLC programs, and field wiring issues. It is essential to follow organizational workflows and update project-related activities in the ERP system. To excel in this role, you must possess a strong knowledge of PLC programming (Schneider, Rockwell Automation) and SCADA/HMI configuration. Experience in VFD and AC Servo Drive parameterization is required, along with an understanding of industrial automation standards and control system architecture. Hands-on experience with control panel wiring supervision and troubleshooting is crucial, as well as familiarity with field instruments such as sensors, actuators, and encoders. Knowledge of commissioning procedures and safety practices is essential. Good communication skills for client interaction and technical discussions are necessary. You should be able to work independently as well as in a team, with proficiency in ERP systems for project documentation and reporting.
