Automation Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at TNS, you will play a crucial role in automating and streamlining operations and processes, building tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting issues across different environments. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. - Automating infrastructure provisioning with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. - Monitoring system performance to ensure reliability and scalability of cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Collaborating with development and QA teams for seamless deployment and integration. - Managing containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. - Implementing security best practices in both infrastructure and deployment processes. - Maintaining and enhancing observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack. - Troubleshooting production issues and coordinating with development teams for resolutions. Qualifications required for this role include: - 6-8 years of experience in a relevant field. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. - Proven experience in DevOps, system administration, or software engineering. - Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, etc. - Experience with version control systems like Git. - Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
