As an Automation Engineer specializing in PLC/DCS, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and commissioning industrial automation systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and commissioning PLC and DCS systems for industrial automation projects. - Programming and modifying control logic using platforms like Honeywell, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc. - Troubleshooting control systems to ensure stable plant operations. - Collaborating with instrumentation, electrical, and process teams to implement automation solutions. - Preparing and maintaining technical documentation such as control logic diagrams and functional design specifications. - Participating in FAT/SAT and system validation processes. - Monitoring and optimizing system performance for efficiency and reliability. - Providing technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams. - Ensuring all activities adhere to safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices. Qualifications & Skills required for this role are: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or related engineering discipline. - 23 years of practical experience in PLC/DCS programming, configuration, and commissioning. - Solid understanding of control system architecture and communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC, etc. - Experience in HMI/SCADA development is preferred. - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&ID drawings. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards. - Willingness to travel to project and site locations as required.
