Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Automation Engineer (Maintenance) located in Mysuru. • To participate in day-to-day development, maintenance and operations of all CNC and automatic machines. • Program, maintain and service CNC machines in a time-bound manner. • Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repair work, and upgrades. • Keep through records of activities carries out with proper documentation that can be accessed at all times. • Ensure that all work follows safety guidelines and regulations. • Contribute to managing the maintenance budget, including monitoring expenses and finding ways to reduce costs. • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure that all maintenance activities are coordinated and aligned with business objectives. • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and increase productivity. • Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential problems and plan maintenance activities accordingly. • Analyse maintenance data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and make data-driven decisions. • Implementing new technologies/ processes/ systems: Responsible for identifying and implementing new technologies and/ or processes or systems to improve maintenance operations and increase efficiency.
