Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Automation Engineer (Maintenance) located in Mysuru. To participate in day-to-day development, maintenance and operations of all CNC and automatic machines. Program, maintain and service CNC machines in a time-bound manner. Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repair work, and upgrades. Keep through records of activities carries out with proper documentation that can be accessed at all times. Ensure that all work follows safety guidelines and regulations. Contribute to managing the maintenance budget, including monitoring expenses and finding ways to reduce costs. Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure that all maintenance activities are coordinated and aligned with business objectives. Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and increase productivity. Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential problems and plan maintenance activities accordingly.
