About GasTech - GasTech Systems is a Green Energy company. We have perfected the technology of Dual Fuel (Diesel + Natural Gas) operation of Diesel engines. The engines can be for stationary uses as in Diesel Gensets or Mobile ones for Mining, Marine or Railways applications. We are headquartered in Bangalore, India. Besides a large focus on NCR in India and emerging business interests in all states of the country, we also address global business opportunities. We are making large investments in related R&D. Our major sales are through Engine OEMs though we also have direct sales to the asset owners. Job Summary - We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to work with our field & development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, new design, automation product selection & after-sales service support. This role requires strong problem-solving, and technical expertise to drive innovation and maintain high-quality service standards. Key Responsibilities - Knowledge of troubleshooting various PLC/ DCS/ HMI/ SCADA/ web interface/ embedded boards installed on various machine applications. Knowledge of various communication protocols like RS485/ TCIP/ cloud technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain. Work on new automation projects. Stay updated with emerging technologies and engineering best practices to drive continuous improvement. Manage inter-departmental documentation coordination with team members. Qualifications & Skills - Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics, Electrical engineering. 2+ years of experience in field work/ troubleshooting. Working experience with Rockwell, Siemens, Omron, etc PLC/HMI. Experience working with embedded boards. Understanding of logic/ interlocks. Wiring diagnostics & debugging. Excellent team member, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with internal and external stakeholders.
