Automation Engineer

Job Description

As part of the Automation Project Team, the candidate will work closely with the Lead Automation Engineer to identify, analyze, and implement process improvement initiatives across business functions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies and additional skills in automation tools and scripting to support end-to-end automation delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies and additional skills in automation tools and scripting to support end-to-end automation delivery. Skills: 1. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform - including Power Apps , Power Automate , and Power BI . 2. Ability to design, build, and deploy end-to-end automation solutions using Power Platform. 3. Working knowledge of UIPath with hands-on experience in bot development and deployment is desirable. 4. Understanding of RE Framework , Document Understanding , AI Center in UiPath is a plus. 5. Proficiency in Advanced Excel and VBA for data manipulation and legacy automation support. 6. Familiarity with SQL databases and ability to write and optimize queries. 7. Experience in business process analysis and translating them into technical solutions. 8. Background in automating Finance & Accounting processes is beneficial. 9. UiPath certifications such as UiARD or UiRPA are considered an advantage. 10. Experience with Orchestrator is a plus. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements. Design and develop solutions primarily using Power Platform tools. Develop automation workflows and dashboards in Power Automate and Power BI. Evaluate automation opportunities and conduct feasibility studies. Contribute to end-to-end lifecycle from requirements gathering to testing and deployment. Support solution architecture discussions and ensure alignment with design standards. Perform proof of concepts and create technical documentation for solutions. Ensure code quality through reviews and adhere to best practices. Deliver solutions within timelines and support post-deployment. Collaborate with other team members on innovation and continuous improvement initiatives. PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s or master s degree in any technical or non-technical field. 3-5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment. Analytical mindset with a passion for automation and technology.
