AutoCAD/Solidworks

As a detail-oriented Design Engineer, you will be responsible for utilizing AutoCAD software to create ELV, electrical, and lighting drawings and plans for projects. You will also be required to create and modify 3D models using Solidworks software, developing these models to visualize projects and aid in design decisions. Analyzing and resolving technical issues during the drawing process will be a key part of your role, ensuring the quality control of drawings and documentations. Your responsibilities will also include developing detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing, preparing assembly instructions and Bill of Materials (BOM), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project development. You will be expected to explore new design technologies and techniques to enhance productivity, as well as supporting the prototyping process through effective design revisions. In addition, you will assist in various project management tasks, including scheduling and cost estimation, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. It will be essential to maintain up-to-date knowledge of Solidworks and AutoCAD functionalities and enhancements to carry out your duties effectively.
