Job Description (JD) – AutoCAD Draughtsman

An AutoCAD Draughtsman is tasked with preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, and designs using AutoCAD and various drafting tools. This position necessitates close collaboration with architects, engineers, and project managers to convert design concepts into precise drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D/3D drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Collaborate with architects/engineers to understand design requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and standards.
• Maintain updated drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with site engineers and consultants for design clarifications.
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings aligned with project schedules.

• Average time taken to deliver drawings vs. the committed timeline. (Target: On-time delivery ≥ 90%).
• Error Rate
• No. of drawing errors/changes identified during project execution. (Target: < 5% per project).
• Collaboration Efficiency
• Number of coordination meetings/issues resolved on time.
• Documentation Compliance
• % of drawings properly archived, labeled, and updated. (Target: 100%).
• Support to Site Teams
• Response time for drawing clarifications/updates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
