Auto Cad draughtsman/design engineer (onsite near Janakpuri )

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled AutoCAD Designer with experience in retail site development to join our growing design team. You will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed CAD drawings for new store builds, remodels, site plans, and permitting documents across a variety of retail environments.

• Responsibilities: Prepare site plans, floor plans, elevations, and construction documents using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop site-specific retail layouts.
• Interpret client branding and space planning requirements into functional retail designs.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable building codes, zoning laws, and permitting requirements.
• Revise and update plans as required through project development and construction phases.
• Maintain project documentation and drawing archives.
• Coordinate with civil and MEP consultants to integrate external plans.
• Should be well-versed with All services required by mall department for any given brand site eg.
• Fire,Smoke detectors , AC Grills, Ducts, Sprinklers, RID , DB area etc.
• Should be able to understand and create proper Ceiling drawings/ lighting, fixture drawings etc.
• Attention to finishes of panelling/partition/various materials like gypsum/mdf/ply etc.
• Qualifications: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2018 or newer).
• 5+ years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably in retail or commercial site design.
• Familiarity with retail planning, zoning codes, ADA compliance, and permitting processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Experience with Revit, SketchUp, or other 3D tools is a plus.
• Degree or certification in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Should be able to execute site measurement sheet , complete civil drawings and fixture lists.
