Job Description

Role Overview: As an Authorized Officer at UBS, you will be responsible for managing and processing mandatory corporate actions, such as dividends, coupons, redemptions, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate events. Your role will involve ensuring accurate and timely processing for various securities and events, monitoring and reconciling corporate actions and income events, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Additionally, you will provide support and guidance to junior team members, assist in project delivery, and ensure that SOPs are up to date and reviewed annually. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and process mandatory corporate actions - Ensure accurate and timely processing for various securities and events - Monitor and reconcile corporate actions and income events - Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices - Provide support and guidance to junior team members - Assist in project delivery - Ensure SOPs are up to date and reviewed annually Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate actions and income processing - Strong understanding of financial markets and securities - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel - Strong communication and interpersonal skills About the Company: UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
